Why Cairn?

Born out of a passion for both food and hiking in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we discovered the striking parallels between the two. Just as camaraderie forms in navigating the kitchen rush, so too does it flourish along the trail, where fellow hikers lend a hand. The heartwarming embrace of Midwest cuisine, perfectly complemented by fireside feasts shared under the stars. And amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Lakes region, abundant with diverse flora and fauna, there's a world waiting to be explored. We're eager to share it all with you.
